ACT Interpreting is a performance-specific interpreting company providing service in Milwaukee, Madison, and their surrounding areas.

We value the specialized skills required to effectively interpret in the entertainment field. Each member of our ASL team has their own niche when it comes to performance work. Their backgrounds ranges from working as a professional actor, majoring in music theater, years of performance interpreting experience, and being musicians themselves.

We actively collaborate with our local Deaf community members.

We integrate their expertise into the interpreting process and our operations in order to tailor our services to what our community wants and needs. ACT heavily relies upon our consumers’ feedback and perspective to continuously improve experiences.

ACT hires Deaf and Hard of Hearing Directors of Interpreters (DOIs) and language coaches, bringing a unique and essential perspective to our work.
